In Germany, if you’re starting in the first half of the year will get all of your vacation allowance by the end of the six-month mark. So, for example, if you start in March, you’ll still have a full year of vacation once you are in August. But if you start in the second half, obviously you can’t complete six months until the year is over, so you’ll only get a partial allowance. And what HiBob can do: It can do both. It can say ok, if you assign a policy, you give the employee all the vacation right from the start, available for them to plan, or you can say it partially accrues over time.
